MLRR alum, Princess Leia, is the star of a children’s book! It’s called “The Yellow Dog with the Pink Nose” and can be found on Amazon.com and Booksurge.com. The book costs $15.99 and proceeds from its sales will go to MLRR and the troops in Iraq. The book is about how Leia was found, and the difficulties she went through both before and after she was adopted. It helps children learn their color and number words and also helps them to overcome their fears. And now Leia is helping others by her visits to nursing homes, hospitals, and her owner’s (and author) kindergarten class each week.

The US Bones Rewards Fundraising Program supports Midwest Lab Rescue by allocating 25% of product sales value to us. They sell high quality American made dog bones, chews, and treats.
