Please contact the name and phone number listed after each description to inquire about a specific Lab. Do not contact MLRR. These dogs have not been fully evaluated by MLRR, and therefore their descriptions cannot be guaranteed. MLRR cannot be held responsible or liable for anything related to these dogs. Princess Princess: 8 year old yellow female (dob 11/24/02) - Princess is sweet older gal with enough energy to jump a 4 foot fence. She is actually pretty calm dog and mostly is a fan of being the only dog in the house. Sadie Sadie: 3 year old black female (dob 8/19/07) - Nice personality when she is the only dog in the house. She likes to be the center of attention. She is also best with older kids (high school aged) or adults. Young kids can be a bother to her. Brady I’m Brady. I’m a 5-year-old active boy who loves walking, chasing tennis balls, and going for swims every now and then. I love my chew toys, especially when I get a little peanut butter treat. Well, actually, as long as there is ANY kind of food involved, I’m happy (and I do mean any). When I go for walks, I get really excited, and I know my owner sometimes complains that I pull him too much, but everything is just so exciting! I’m a really good boy, but if you leave the house and come back late at night, I might just open up the kitchen garbage to remind you that you can’t forget about me. Parker Parker is about a 1 year old Lab/Spaniel mix who was abandoned at a golf course in rural Illinois. He is medium to large in size and weighs about 50 pounds. He was very scared and was hiding in a shed on the grounds. When we went to rescue him, he was very happy to see us, but a little worried about why we were there. Now a few weeks later, he has put on a lot of weight, so you can no longer see his ribs. He loves his people and wants to be with them all the time. He has a very sweet and innocent little personality that you can't help but fall in love with. He also adores other dogs and seems to follow other dogs' leads. Because Parker really looks to other dogs for direction, we will only adopt him to a home with another dog. He also LOVES to play with his canine companions. That is his favorite thing to do other than being petted! He is also looking for a home that will offer him patience, love, and TLC because he is timid at times and is unsure of what is coming next. Whomever comes to meet Parker, needs to realize that he won't warm up to you immediately. He needs time to feel comfortable with you. He is a total lover, and he can't get enough love and attention from the people he knows. We aren't saying he is house broken, but so far he has had no accidents in his foster home.
